Cylindrical Headers
Where cylindrical headers are provided
their working pressure shall be determined by Equation
72.
Reg. 342b
End Attachments
The attachment of ends and the method
of calculating the working pressure shall be in
accordance with clause (f) of Regulation
340.
Subject to the following modifications:-
K = 0.19 for ends integral with or flanged and butt
welded to the header.
= 0.28 for ends directly strength welded to the
header in an approved manner.
