Subject: Suggestions on Draft Regulations for the amendments made in the Boilers Act, 1923.

            Suggestions are invited on the Draft Regulations to be framed  by the Central Government / Central Boilers Board in respect of the following Sections / Sub-sections of the Boilers Act, 1923 as amended by the Indian Boilers (Amendment) Act, 2007.

Section 2(cb)  –  Competent Person (Annexure I)

Section 2(ccd) – Inspecting Authority (Annexure II)

Section 2(ca)  –  Competent Authority (Annexure III)

Section 2(cce) – Manufacturer (Annexure IV)

Section 7        -  Registration of Boiler (Annexure V)

Section 8        -   Renewal of Certificate of Operation (Annexure VI)

The suggestions may be sent to the following on or before 15^th January, 2009.
