    Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs& Trade marks
 

The Office of the Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM) is a subordinate office under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion. The Controller General administers the working of the Patents Act, 1970,the Trade Marks Act, 1999, the Geographical Indications of Goods (Registration and Protection) Act, 1999 and the Designs Act, 2000 and also renders advise to the Government on matters relating to industrial property rights. ...More
